George Nelson has got to be one the most recognized and prolific names in mid century furniture design. I have a handful of favourite of pieces, one of which I recently purchased! I've been hunting for months trying to find the exact right thing to put infront of my sofa and I'm very excited to have a Nelson Platform Bench as my new coffee table! Of course it's not an original - that would be to much moolah!

Wondering where I got such a sweet bench? Nood... Now yes some may argue that it's a reproduction, frankly I don't care. I was able to afford something I love and will enjoy for a long time to come. Not to mention Nood is having a fabulous sale, so if there's something you're interested in and you're on a tight budget I'd suggest checking Nood out. 

FOUND A BARGAIN

You could purchase this wreath from Abbott for $180, or from Home Sense for $80, now that's a bargain! I'd like to poke some evergreen sprigs and berries into it, oh geeze here comes the Christmas bug!

I've been searching for some time - looking for pillows for our couch. There are so many options and so many varying degrees of price. But this weekend while shopping with a client I came across a "Bargain Buy" for myself.

When it rains, all I want to do is shop. But when you're on a tight budget, sometimes splurging just for the heck of it isn't such a great idea... So I thought I'd show you some of my favorite thrift store finds.

Umbrella Stand: $12 - Sally Anne. This is actually Jesse's thrifty find. At first I wasn't fond of the brass and thought I'd paint it. Now I like it just the way it is. 

Elephant: $6 - Value Village. I have a thing for elephants, and this guy was looking awfully sad, so I brought him home and painted him red. 

Tripod Lamp: $3 Sally Anne. It's a working tripod, adjustable height and legs.
