Imagine having a smokeless fire that burns clean and comes from a can. It doesn't require a chimney flue, and can be placed anywhere in your home or yard without any installation requirements. It's simple, flexible, effective and cozy, and it's fuelled by the renewable energy of Denatured Ethanol. You're able to manipulate and control the size of the flame and the amount of heat generated. All you need is a burner or a range and your set.
Denatured Ethanol is made from plants and does not release any toxins or carbon dioxide into the air. It's clean and it's safe. One quart of denatured ethanol can burn for up to 5 hours depending on the size of the flame.

I've always loved the funky look of Ikeas outdoor lights. I never liked the long cable and huge hideous plug that took up the whole outlet. But now ikea has unleashed a new line of solar powered outdoor lamps. Cool looking no hassle lighting, that's powered by the sun. I can't wait to get mine!
By now everyone should know the benefits of using Compact Fluorescent Lighting. But just incase, here are a few facts: A CFL bulb uses %75 less energy and lasts 10 times longer than an incandescent bulb.
CFL Shopping Tips: CFL bulbs come in several different "colour temperatures." Colour temperature is measured in Kelvin's. If the Kelvins are lower (2,700K) the light will have a warmer more yellow glow. If the Kelvins are higher (6,500K) the light will have cooler blue colour. Any CFL labelled "daylight" has higher Kelvins and will have a cool colour, these are best suited to the garage not the kitchen, as the blue hue of the light will make dinner look un-appealing.
Fear not the CFL bulb. We're no longer forced to look at that funny coil as CFL's now come in an array of shapes and sizes, and some are even dimmable. They save you money, and conserve energy, which keeps our planet blue, green and happy all over. And ALWAYS take broken or dead CFL bulbs to your local recycling centre.
